We all know that cholesterol is extremely important for our blood, but we heard almost nothing about triglycerides. And those are fatty particles found in your blood important for heart health. Now it’s time to pay attention to them as well because they are most probably in a bad condition. Usually adults have triglyceride levels that are borderline or too high. That is not the norm of our health. So what are the main factors that cause triglycerides problems? Having heavy weight, getting too little activity, drinking lots of alcohol, taking drugs and eating lots of saturated fat can all add up to higher triglyceride levels. Also people with diabetes or a genetic condition have sensitive triglycerides. However, only minority knows that high triglycerides are as dangerous as high cholesterol levels and how to compete them. Getting focused on these tiny third type fatty particles found in the blood may lead to further prevention of heart disease, so they are really worth of our attention. There is no certain medicine at the moment, but we can prevent triglycerides diseases by losing weight, eating more healthily, and becoming more active. And check their level in our blood regularly!
