Nowadays we can observe the struggle against smoking all over the world, especially in European countries. In Europe smoking in public places has been forbidden for a quite long time. And for the illegal smoking people are obliged to pay the huge amounts of money.
But as we see today the ban on smoking in public insurances is appeared not to be a limit.
The Belgians decided to continue fighting against the smokers. Presently they are trying to put into effect the law, according to which parents is prohibited to smoke at home and, also in their cars in front of the children. This act was proposed by the Belgian senator Patrick Vancrunkelsven and was initiatively supported by the citizens. But Commission on the Private Life Security did not maintain the law. According to them such politics entrenches the privet life of people. In my opinion, readers of this article right now are being divided into two big groups: those, who smoke and those who do not smoke. The first group stands, more likely, against the proposed act, the second one stands, I am sure, for the anti-smoke law. Actually, I used to smoke when I was yang, but few years ago I gave up smoking. And according to my personal experience, I would like to share my opinion with the readers and express my thoughts about the law under investigation. The ban on smoking, I believe, is a good thing in all cases. First of all, the less we smoke, the less we spoil our organism and the less money we spend on the cigarettes. Also, I am quite sure that a lot of people were trying to give up smoking and failed to do that because of the weak will-power. But very often the amounts of money, which are people have to pay for the illegal smoking straighten their will. Many of us have relatives and friends who do not smoke and sometimes can not even bear the smoke of the cigarettes. And when we smoke in front of them, we actually shorten their lives, because, as everybody knows, the passive smoking is far more dangerous, than the active. Unfortunately, small, unsecured children can not oblige their parents to stop smoking. They do not even realize that smoking a cigarette is an incredibly dangerous process. So, probably, the law will help them. As for me, I really liked the idea. And if anyone wants to cut his or her life – let them do it, but I will not let anybody to cut my life.
